Here Comes Santa Claus ... Right Down River Trails Lane

This morning Kayden came to Mommy's school to see Santa. This is my 10th year to teach and this was the first year, that Santa didn't arrive to my school by helicopter. This morning it was way to foggy for Santa to fly in his helicopter so he had to come by van. When my principal came around to let us know, we were all so disappointed and the kids were so sad. I look forward to this every year and LOVE that I get to share this tradition with Kayden. I even asked Mallory and Mrs. Lori to come to Mommy's school and Lori arranged to go into her school late just to experience this awesome tradition and it didn't get to happen today. The entire school had to sit in the gym and Santa and his friends walked up and down and made their way through everyone. As disappointed as I was it still was pretty neat and the kids enjoyed the entire experience...

Mallory and Mrs. Lori came to Mommy's classroom before going to see Santa...

Kayden loves when she gets to come to Mommy's classroom and as soon as the kids saw her they were just as excited. At one point Kayden came up to me and ask "Mommy why your kids know my name" and I told her because Mommy talks about you all the time and one of the kids said "she even writes story problems about you and we have to solve them"

Kayden and Mallory loved standing next to Kaylee's desk and watching her work...

Kayden loved sitting with Kaylee watching in the gym for Santa to come. Kaylee is so sweet and she asked me if I could bring Kayden back to school very school...

Kayden, Kaylee and Mallory...
Here comes Santa...not as good an entrance as the helicopter...o'well there's always next year...

Hello Frosty...

Priceless...

Lori did get a picture of the girls with Santa and we wouldn't have gotten this if we would have been outside...

Mommy's principal dancing with Santa...

One of Santa's elves talking to Kayden...aka president of our school board and he calls Mommy and every other teacher on their birthday...what a nice man.

Bye Santa, Merry Christmas...

Mrs. Lori took the girls back to Mommy's classroom a little early to beat the crowd. One day Mallory and Kayden might be walking down these halls when they go to school at River Trails...sniff sniff that makes Mommy sad...

What a fun morning...
