Just the 3 of Us...or 4 if you count Macy...

Last Monday night before we left for Schulenburg on Tuesday we opened presents, just the 3 of us. This was my favorite part about Christmas by far. It was so wonderful spending time with family but Monday night was AWESOME. When Kayden would open presents around family I think she was a little overwhelmed she loved all her presents but she was more concerned about what everyone else had gotten and wanted to play with their stuff instead of hers. So looking back on this night of just the 3 of us, Kayden opened each presents one by one and every time she opened up something her little face would light up and she would either say "this is what I always wanted" or "I never seen this before, how wonderful". She was so excited and even loved watching mommy and daddy open their presents. I love everything about Christmas and I'm a little sad its over but I can't wait to see what wonderful memories our family will make in 2009...

So sweet...Kayden loves her Macy...

Every year I wrap all Kayden's presents in the same paper under the tree and this year all of them were wrapped in black and white paper with pink bows....Man she must of been a good little girl because that's a ton of presents...

Are you ready to open...

First present of the night...

What is it?...

a cute froggy robe...

Time for another one...

WOW...

Kayden was so excited about this game because when we play card games she has a hard time holding the cards in her hands and this game has a card wheel that will help her hold her cards...

The card game was from Macy, thanks Macy...

Cool... a car to go with my doll house...

I love how she was opening her presents with her little feet crossed...

A mommy and a little toddler girl to also go with her dollhouse...

Opening up presents is so much fun...

What a cute apron, it will come in handy when you help mommy and daddy cook and when you do your own cooking in your kitchen...

Now it was Daddy's turn to open his presents...if you look really close at Kayden's mouth you can see her saying shoes...she said "daddy we got you some shoes"...she was so excited...

I think daddy likes his new shoes...

Then it was mommy's turn and mommy got a new toothbrush...

Another one for Daddy...

I think he likes his new IPOD dock...

My 2 favorite people...

Daddy and Kayden surprised mommy big time...I got a new lens for my camera...YAHOO!

Kayden's turn again but this time she wanted daddy to help her...

You know me and my feet...and these were just too cute to pass up...

A cupcake baking set for my play kitchen...

Now time for Mommy to play around with her new lens...

What a great Christmas 2008...
