The First Gift of Christmas...

We've been doing our countdown to Santa every night before we go to bed, as soon as we pick out our books to read Kayden takes a link off the chain without me saying anything at all...Every night as she takes a link off, she reminds me about the special brown polka dotted one and the other night she asked "when I take the brown one off does Sam bring me a present back from the North Pole", well, that wasn't the plan, I was just going to let the gifts be from mommy and daddy but when she said that the other night, I thought how cute, of course Sam brings you a present back from the North Pole. So here's a funny story...as soon as we got home from school on Thursday, Kayden runs into her room and puts on her p.j.'s and comes running out of her room saying "I ready for bed, Mommy...its a brown thingy night and Sam brings me a present" Being it was only 4:30, I had to break the news to her that we still needed to eat dinner, take a bath and then it would be time to go to bed...

So we took the polka dotted link off, read our books went night night and Sam the elf left a present under Kayden's tree...

What could it be...
