Early this morning Mommy, Kayden, Coco, Connor and Callie all went to the Fort Worth Zoo...Kayden had not been to the zoo since she was 15 months old, so being the animal lover that she is you can imagine how excited she was to see all the animals...I didn't take a stroller and Kayden never once complained she was tired because she had to much fun walking around and getting a front row view of every animal...
The elephants were Kayden's favorite animal by far at the zoo...She has a stuffed elephant named Lucy that she sleeps with every night so she really holds elephants close to her heart...
The Monkey's came in a close 2nd...
This gorilla was hilarious...he was just chill'n..
This picture says a thousand words...Checking out more animals...the kids were great and the zoo wasn't crowed at all so we really took our time looking at everything...
That is one "HUGE" lizard...

Feeding the birds was also a highlight of the day...
The penguins were mommy's favorite animals to watch, but how can something so cute stink so bad...they were pretty smelly...
The famous posing lizard every time we go to the zoo, you have to take a picture with the lizard...

After lunch we ate ice cream to help beat the heat...This was Kayden's first ice cream scoop on a cone, she has eaten lots of bowls of ice cream but man ice cream on a cone sure is good...

Kayden could have stayed here all day pushing the buttons and listening to the animal sounds and feeling their hair...
Carousal rides are so much fun...
and so is the train...
We had such a wonderful day and spending it will such close friends made it even nicer...
