It's Only Hair, It'll Grow Back...

That's what Mommy keeps trying to tell herself, b/c Kayden decided to give herself a haircut last night, I know every child has probably done this but let me tell you it's not ANY fun when it's your own...

one bad hair cut Kayden style...

I never wanted Kayden to have bangs especially this way...

Luckily Mommy can still put it back in a clip and you can't even tell...

Here's the story...

Sometimes Mommy will cut Kayden's pigtail rubber bands out of her hair if they are too tight and hurting her as I'm trying to get them out but we have talked about mommy is only to do this and not Kayden...Well last night we were putting our p.j.'s on in the living room and then all of a sudden Kayden goes "wait mommy I be right back" so she left the room and she wasn't gone even a minute and I thought to myself she must have gone to get the scissors but before I could even get up she was walking with them in her hand and when I got up to get them from her I looked at her hair and screamed...She had one pony on top of her head and I guess she had tried to cut out the pony and snipped a little hair with it...she has never tried to use scissors before but that day at the museum I had let her cut some paper with some kid scissors that they had for them to use and apparently she now thinks she can use them whenever she wants but we did have a talk about this and I think with my scream, that Kayden has never heard, scared her have to death so hopefully we are done with scissors for a while. We are very luckily because Kayden could have cut more than hair and even poked out an eye with those sharp scissors so Mommy and Daddy have put the scissors up where she can't get to them...
