Kayden and Santa 2009…

Here is the frame that Mommy made for Kayden’s first visit to Santa and every year since, it has displayed the current year picture of Kayden on Santa’s lap…

This is Kayden’s 5th Christmas to sit on Santa’s lap and every year we have taken her to see Santa at the Gaylord Texan…This year I made this frame to display all 4 past years of her and Santa…

The last 4 years have been the exact same Santa, he had only cut his beard…well this year it was a totally different Santa and Kayden totally noticed and was very confused.  As soon as we got in the car from our visit with Santa this was our conversation…

~Kayden      “Mommy when am I going to see that other Santa with the long beard, like last year.  This one looked different.”

~Mommy      “Do you think he is the real Santa”

~Kayden      “I don’t think so because Santa lives in the North Pole, which is very far away”

~Mommy     “Your right, the Santa at the Gaylord and at Mommy’s school are just Santa’s helpers because Santa is really in the North Pole and he needs lots of helpers because he is busy, busy, busy watching little girls and boys and making sure everything gets done before Christmas Eve” 

~Kayden     “He’s works pretty hard, that’s why we have to be good and we get what we get and don’t throw a fit.”

~Mommy    “That’s exactly right, my sweet little girl.”

Next year we will have to 2 sweet little girls sitting on Santa’s lap, I can’t wait :)
