On June 26, 2009 I took a pregnancy test and found out that our family of 3 was now going to be a family of 4…
~Kevin and I have always said that 6 is our lucking number, Kevin and I are 6 days 6 years apart, We were married in June which is the 6th month, Kayden was born on the April 6th and weighted 6 pounds and now finding out that we are blessed with another baby on 6-26, just confirms that 6 is definitely our lucky number…
Telling our family…
When I found out I was pregnant with Kayden, I had to tell all of my family on the phone because they all live in other places, so this time when Kevin and I found out I was pregnant again, the timing was perfect because a few days after we found out, Kayden and I were leaving for our trip to Schulenburg to see my family. I couldn’t wait to tell everyone and this time telling them in person was going to be so awesome…
~The first people we told were my mom and dad. Kevin drove Kayden and I to Waco to meet my parents and I had made Kayden a shirt that said Big Sister and she wore it that day. As soon as Kayden got out of the car and my parents saw her, my mom was yelling, big sister, big sister and you could hear the excited in her voice, she was definitely surprised by the news…
~The next people I told was my sister Dana and Jillian, they came over to my parent’s house and Kayden gave them a cute little card. My sister was very shocked, she thought that I was giving them an invitation to Kevin’s 40th birthday party…
~One evening my grandparents came over to eat dinner with us and Kayden gave them the same card to announce her big secret…Kayden had so much fun telling people…
~On the 4th of July I got to share the news with the rest of my family by once again by Kayden giving them her special card…
~When Kayden and I got back from Schulenburg Mimi and Popo came over one afternoon and we shared the wonderful secret with them as well…

Telling friends…
~While we were in Schulenburg Kayden and I had lunch with Coco. Before our food came we shared the news with her as well with the special card…I think her face says it all…
~One day we went with Miss Keaton for lunch and shared the news with her at her apartment before we left for the restaurant…
~Mrs. Sheila had foot surgery over the summer so one day after swim lessons Kayden and I brought her lunch and Kayden once again got to share her exciting news of becoming a big sister…
~One day we also had lunch with Mrs. Michelle, Lauren and Bella, and Kayden shared the news with them as well…
~ Kayden told her best friend Mallory one day when we went to the library and it was one of the sweetest things to see Kayden telling one of her friends that is so special to her…
~Ms. Sharon received the news through her memory book that we gave her. On the last page of the book I had a picture of Kayden with her big sister shirt on. Ms. Sharon was so excited and we couldn’t ask for a better person to watch baby Simpson when Mommy has to return back to school at the end of the year…
We are extremely excited to be blessed with another child to make our family complete…it was so much fun sharing the news with all of our family and friends and now the journey begins. We are praying for another healthy baby and delivery and can’t wait to meet our little one in March…
