Our little girl is growing up, Monday was

Kayden’s first day of preschool…

Kayden is attending a Christian preschool up the

road from Mommy’s school called Kids In Glory…

Of course Macy goes to Preschool with

Kayden everyday…We put her in her backpack

and Macy only gets to come out during naptime…

Kayden was so excited to start preschool this year and she had a WONDERFUL first week …She has two teachers, her morning teacher is Mrs. Becky and in the morning they work on academics, this week she practiced writing her name as well as learning how to write the letter Aa. They also worked on the number zero as well recognizing shapes…After working hard all morning long she gets to eat a yummy lunch and then take a nap. After nap it’s time for her afternoon teacher Mrs. Yvonne. In her afternoon class, Kayden is learning about Jesus. Kayden memorized her first bible verse this week as well as the song He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands…

On Thursday Daddy picked Kayden up for preschool and Mrs. Yvonne aksed Kayden to tell Daddy her bible verse and Kayden rattled it off, Mrs. Yvonne said “it took her 3 days to learn” Then Daddy says “oh, if you will send the bible verse home with her we would be more than happy to work with her, anything we can do to help” and Mrs. Yvonne said, “no, it only took her 3 days which is wonderful and she’s the only one in the class that has the entire thing memorized.

Kayden has also memorized her lunchtime meal prayer that she says everyday before she eats …

We asked Kayden last night at the dinner table what she liked best about her first week at preschool and this is what she said…

“I love learning bible verses, playing in centers, coloring, and I just love everything…

All week as we talked about preschool with Kayden we would ask her about the kids in her class and she was so cute because she would say their name and then she would describe to us what they were wearing that day. She told us last night that “Cole, you know that boy with the blue shirt, I sit next to him and he’s my best buddy”
