This morning we enjoyed the Schulenburg Festival parade. The weather was very pleasant and Kayden had so much fun watching all the floats and picking up candy that was being thrown…
Jon was so sweet helping Kayden with her candy…
I was shocked that Kayden shook the hand of one of the clowns because most kids are freaked out by them but I guess she thought they were cute or something…
Karsyn found Mommy’s lens cap to her camera quit entertaining…Catching candy is hard work, water breaks are a necessity…
What a cute little fire fighter…
After the parade we went with MawMaw and PawPaw to Sengelmann Hall to eat lunch to celebrate Mommy and Daddy’s upcoming birthdays…
Here is some info about Sengelmann’s…
Sengelmann Hall is a restored 1890's Texas dance hall, complete with a restaurant, saloon and biergarten, located in historic downtown Schulenburg, TX. We're surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills of Fayette County, an hour and a half from Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. The fully restored saloon and restaurant features the original plank flooring, decorative stenciling, pressed tin ceilings and carved marble pillars (with bullet holes from brawls during the 1800s!). The grand mahogany bar was painstakingly rebuilt from original photographs.
Mommy gave Karsyn a small bite of mashed potatoes and she wasn’t quit sure about them and Kayden thought it would be cute to take a picture of her as well as her yummy food…
PawPaw and Daddy…
After lunch we went over to Aunt Theresa and Uncle Mike’s to hang out one more time before heading home tomorrow…
Will, Kayden and Karsyn…
Kayden adores Will…
Kayden hanging out on the hammock and enjoying the nice country air one last time before we head back to the city tomorrow…
