Today was Kayden’s first day back to preschool since Karsyn was born. I was very sad seeing her leave with Daddy this morning because this will be my first day at home without my 2 little girls, but I know that the best thing for Kayden to do is to continue to go to school and we’ve decided to only put her in 3 days a week instead of 5 so that she still gets to stay at home with Mommy and Karsyn some and doesn’t totally feel left out. I could tell that Kayden was sad to leave and go to preschool this morning and Daddy said that she was very quiet the whole way to school. While Daddy stayed home with Karsyn, Mommy decided to go and pick Kayden up from school. On the way home I asked Kayden how was school today and she said “Mommy I didn’t realize that all my friends missed me, they were all hugging me and saying, we are glad your back Kayden”
~Tonight Kayden, Mommy and Karsyn were all sitting on the couch and I asked Kayden what was her favorite thing about being a big sister and she said “Well, actually I have 10 things” and she held up a finger every time she said one of her favorite things…
1. “feeding her…
2. picking out her clothes, they are so stink 'in cute…
3. when she holds onto my finger…
4. kissing her on the head
5. going and getting diapers for Mommy and Daddy…
6. playing next to her…
7. telling her I love you…
8. reading her books…
9. teaching her new things…
10. and the best…holding her “
~Every Friday is show and tell at preschool so today Kayden took pictures of Karsyn to share with all her friends and to show off her baby sister…she was so proud of her pictures…
