Today Kayden dressed wickedly adorable for preschool…
When we got home from school Kayden did a few craftivities while Mommy and Daddy cooked some yummy dinner…
Mommy handed Kayden this paper and asked “Do you know what vowels are” and Kayden said “a-e-i-o-u and since Mommy has never talked with Kayden before about vowels then I said “you go girl, how do you know what vowels are” and she said “because those things hanging up in my room at school” The next day at Preschool I looked in Kayden’s classroom and sure enough there were posters hanging up on the wall with the vowels. I think she’s a visual learner :) She truly amazes us everyday…
Kayden had to find the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch by coloring the vowels orange and the consonants green…
Awesome !
Next up she did a sheet where she had to match the pictures to the correct letter on the pumpkin. For example the picture of the raccoon she had to cut out and glue it to the pumpkin that had and “r” on it…
Kayden is doing so good at cutting, they practice a lot at preschool as well as we try to practice a lot at home because being a teacher I know that kids struggle with cutting things out and the only way they become good at it is by practicing…
The tongue sticking out cracks me up…
