Kayden has known for awhile how to write her name but in preschool Ms. Becky has been working with her on how to write her name with the correct letter formation on handwriting paper. Every Friday we get see all Kayden’s work from preschool and then over the next week we work on things that Ms. Becky thinks Kayden needs extra help, so this week we are working on writing her name. Ms. Becky told also that Kayden is really good at math and knows how to add and subtract 1-digit numbers but struggles with writing the actual numeral. So now that she is really good at writing her name, we are now going to work on writing our numbers 1-9…

I made Kayden this book of just the letters in her name and then I had it laminated so that she can practice over and over again on how to write her letters…

Kayden is having so much fun in preschool. Her teachers always have the nicest things to say about her and she loves to show as well as tell us about what she’s learning. Kayden also enjoys practicing at home or like she says “mommy, can I do my homework”. We love that she is always welling to try and do her best…
