Kayden Avery Simpson: Baby Bump…

Today I am 4 months (16weeks) pregnant…Wow, my baby bump is really starting to grow, this week I have really popped out. With Kayden I wasn’t this big until around 6 months. I guess it’s true what they say about showing more with your 2nd one…

Today Kayden and I got to listen to Baby Simpson’s heartbeat…This was Kayden’s first time to hear her brother or sister’s tiny heart beating. When the Dr. found the heartbeat Kayden’s little face lit up, and she had tons of questions for Dr. Cope. I love that she is old enough to understand a lot of what is going on and is so interested in being involved already with her future brother or sister…

Today while Dr. Cope was trying to find the heartbeat she was having trouble keeping it in place for us to listen because she said the baby was very active. I have begun to feel a few tiny movements and from the look of things I might have a wiggle worm in my belly…

Baby Simpson’s heartbeat was around 150 beats…Our next appointment is on October 26 and we get to find out if our precious little one is a boy or girl, and we can’t wait…

I’m beginning to feel like myself again. I’m done with evening sickness (thank goodness) and I’m not dead tired anymore. Food is beginning to sound great again, which I don’t know if that’s a good thing. I’m starting to have cravings which I didn’t get to experience with Kayden because for some reason I never craved much of anything. Candy is something that I don’t usually eat but here lately I have been eating lots of lollipops, and Skittles(yum, yum)…I have also been eating lots of carrots and ranch and I have to have a salad with about everything I eat…My weirdest craving is seafood, every time I see a Red Lobster commercial, those shrimp looking REALLY good. Unfortunately we don’t have a Red Lobster close to us and so the Simpson family will be visiting Joe’s Crab Shack soon, since that’s the only seafood place in our neck of the woods…

Kayden loves to kiss Mommy’s belly…Every morning when I drop her off at preschool she gives me kisses and then kisses my belly and says “love you baby”. She also gives the baby kisses every night before she goes to bed. Kayden’s favorite thing to do is to talk to the baby and this is Mommy’s favorite thing as well because it touches my heart in places that I can’t even explain. She puts her sweet little face to my belly and says “Hi baby, I’m your big sister, Kayden. I love you”…
