Our Week in Schulenburg…

How WONDERFUL it was, like always and went by way too fast…Daddy drove Kayden and Mommy to Waco to meet MawMaw and PawPaw on Sunday and then daddy comes tomorrow to pick his girls up…

 

While we were staying in Schulenburg PawPaw  baled hay and Kayden was so excited to see all the hay bales…

 

 

 

Sitting on top of them was way cool…

 

 

and standing on top was way high…

You so silly, wearing MawMaw’s glasses…

 

 Kayden begged and begged PawPaw to take her on a tractor ride and PawPaw promised her that before she left he would and he didn’t go back on his promise…

 

 

 

 

 

Kayden loved riding in PawPaw’s tractor and she said it was a little bumpy but that PawPaw held on to her very tight…

One day we went to watch Jillian at cheerleading camp, she did really good and since next year Kayden will be old enough she wants to go as well…

 Mommy played lots and lots of basketball as well as volleyball games in this gym and it was really neat being in my high school gym again…

 

After watching Jillian, MawMaw, Kayden and Mommy went and had lunch at Dairy Queen…It was very good, Mommy misses the good old DQ…

   

Eating an ice cream cone is so much fun…

Mommy’s favorite thing that MawMaw cooks is her stuffed bellpeppers…Yum Yum…Thanks MawMaw for making mommy’s favorite dish…I hope you enjoyed your little helper in the kitchen…

Great Grandma Laverne and Great Grandpa Pat come over to eat dinner with us…

My Grandpa Pat was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s about 5 years ago.  He is one of the sweetest men I know.  Today when he saw Kayden he couldn’t stop smiling and playing with her.  My grandma said that he really hadn’t smiled all day, it was nice seeing the joy that Kayden brings to his life.  Kayden adores Grandpa Pat…

One day we went to the waterpark in Sheridan to stay nice and cool with MawMaw, Aunt Dana, Jillian and Jillian’s friend Chloe…

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mommy even got a night out on the town with CoCo and Bridgett while Kayden stayed with MawMaw and PawPaw.  It was nice seeing old friends and catching up…

 

 The day that we went to lunch with Coco, Callie and Connor were at day camp so we didn’t get to see them but they did come over to MawMaw and PawPaw’s house one morning to play…It was so nice seeing all the kids play together like old times…

    

Jonathan was gone to camp all week and since we weren’t going to see them tomorrow for July 4th he came over and got to spend a little time with Kayden today…

~We can’t wait to see daddy tomorrow and to celebrate the 4th of July with more family at Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Patty’s country home in Hallettsville…
