You can't stop our apple fun. Our apples will not drop. Not one ~Theodore LeSieg

Mommy learned on Monday, through reading a Scholastic News to my students at school, that Dr. Suess' real name was Theodore Suess Geisel and Dr. Suess was his pen name. She also learned that when Theodore Suess Geisel wrote books that others illustrated, he used the pen name LeSieg, which is his last name spelled backwards.
Today we read Ten Apples Up On Top by: Theo LeSieg...

Then Kayden did a patterning activity with apples...

She liked this activity but...

was a little frustrated because she was running out of room on the bar, I tried to talk her into doing it on the kitchen table but she is 3 and sometimes set in her ways...
Kayden liked this activity more because she didn't run out of room...she had to count the apples and then...
put the clothes pin on the number that matched how many apples she counted...

Thanks Mrs. Lori for printing and finding these cute activities...
