This week we did activities (that's what Kayden calls everything we do) with rainbows...
Our first activity was gluing fruit loops onto a rainbow...
Good Job...
Kayden loves to paint so I drew a rainbow and she finger painted each arc a different color...
I love how she is adding details...like a sun...
and grass to her picture...
One night before bed she did a M&M counting activity since M&M's are the color of the rainbow...
She did so good counting on...
Learning is so much fun...
Here is a rainbow that is all about Kayden...
Kayden's favorite color and her eye color are the same...BLUE... and her skin color is peach...we talked about skin color and how her skin color is closest to peach and she told me that Mommy's skin color is also peach but that Daddy's skin color is brown, and she's right her Daddy has nice golden tanned skin that Mommy and Kayden only get in the summer...
Her hair color is yellow...
All done and Daddy drew Kayden's self portrait b/c he's the artist in the family...
Today we made a rainbow craft out of paper plates... First Mommy cut a paper plate in half and Kayden painted one half black...
Then out of the other paper plate Mommy cut out the middle half circle to make a rainbow... Then Kayden finger painted each arc a different color. Here she's doing enny, menny, minny, moe to pick her first color...
Then Mommy cut out a cloud out of blue paper and Kayden added a little white paint to make it look more like a big fluffy cloud...
Then it was time to glue gold coins onto the back of the pot...Kayden wanted to glue using the bottle of glue and she did so good...
Gluing a couple of coins onto the front of the pot as well...
Finally she had to glue the rainbow and the cloud onto the pot...
All done, so cute...Learning about rainbows so much fun...
