One of my favorite things about being a teacher is doing all the cute theme crafty things with my kids, I love making learning fun in my classroom, so why not bring it home to Kayden... When it comes to coloring, painting and gluing, Kayden is all mommy, she gets super excited when we do crafty things together and the best thing about it, is that she's learning at the same time. Being that Kayden surprises me everyday with what she is able to do...I've decided that each month we're going to work on 2 themes, then throughout the month we are going to spend time doing educational cute things to celebrate that theme...I wanted to start this in January but time got away from me so I decided to start it this month and it worked out perfect because February is so much fun...here are the themes that we will be working on in 2009...
February: Valentine's Day, Hearts
March: St. Patrick's Day, Rainbows, Kites
April: #4, Easter
May: Flowers, Elephants
June: Beach, Alphabet
July: Ice Cream, Watermelon
August: Farm, School
September: Apples, Football
October: Pumpkins, Halloween
November: Thanksgiving, Fall
December: Christmas
We have already been doing lots and lots of cute things for our first theme of Valentine's Day and Hearts. Can wait to post all of them soon...
