Meet Ella...In the last month Kayden has become really attached to Ella. Ella was given to Kayden on her 2nd birthday from her friend Rylie. Kayden has always like holding or carrying around stuffed animals/babies but lately Ella has been her #1 squeeze. I'm not big on kids being attached to a pacifier or a blanket that they carrying around, but a stuffed animal or a baby I can handle. So being that I really never gave Kayden a pacifier and she does love her tea cup blanket but only when she goes night night, when Kayden started to love to carry around her stuffed animals/babies I found myself adoring the fact that she needed and wanted something to go with her whenever we left the house b/c of the fact she is so independent. At times it would get a little out of control because she would insist on taking more animals/babies than she could carry, but as she is getting older, Ella is pretty much the only thing that she asks for when it is time for bed or when we are leaving the house. One of my favorite books is the Velveteen Rabbit and whenever I see Kayden holding Ella and rubbing her soft pink ears I can't help but smile and think that maybe one day Ella will become "REAL"
