Today Kayden had her first dance recital. I was very impressed with the entire experience. Kayden did so good remembering her dances. She had to learn a tap routine as well as a ballet routine. The recital was at L.D. Bell High School and it was a packed house. Last week at our dress rehearsal we didn’t get to practice on the actually stage so I really wasn’t sure how Kayden was going to react when she was up on the stage and the curtain opened, with all the lights shining on her and seeing all the people. It didn’t phase her a bit, she did so well and mommy and daddy were so proud of her. My heart was pounding so hard and my hands were sweating as I sat and waited for her to go on stage but after seeing her perform I couldn’t have been prouder and I was grinning from ear to ear…
These were taken outside before the recital…
Kayden and Mallory…
Kayden and Mommy…Kayden looks beautiful mommy did pretty good on her hair and make-up…
Kayden’s first routine “Broadway Baby” was tap…this was her best performance and she really knew her dance…
Her next performance was ballet and she danced to “Pizzicatti”…
After all the groups danced the instructors came out and did a cute tap routine together, Miss Candice is on the left. Kayden loved her and she was so good, we are keeping our fingers crossed that Kayden gets Miss Candice next year as well…
The finale, all the dances came out on the stage to take a bow…
Kayden giving Miss Candice some white roses…and Miss Candice give Kayden a pretty orange flower…
