" I Going to be 3, April 6th " ...

Kayden is so friendly, she talks to every one everywhere we go.. her lastest thing is to tell people "I going to be 3, April 6th". It amazes me how fast Kayden learns things...it literally took her a couple of days to learn her birthday and to hold up 3 fingers instead of 2. Kayden also knows her abc's and can sing them with absolutely no help. She can count to 20 and tells you her full name Kayden Avery Simpson. She knows she lives in Keller, Texas. She recognizes her shapes... circle, oval, square, retangle, octagon, pentagon, and a rhombus. Her favorite color is blue and also recognize orange (her favorite when it comes to Flinstone Vitamins), pink, yellow, purple, green, white, brown, black, as well as red (also rojo thanks to Dora who has also taught her many other spanish words). She cleans up her toys like a pro and knows which stay in the living room and which stay in her room, she also knows that we clean up one thing before we get out something else. Kayden can put her shoes on all by herself and even knows her left foot/hand from her right. She can follow multi-directions when she is asked to do something. So...now we are working on spelling our name and her name puzzle and bathtub letters are going to come in quit handy... I enjoy teaching and seeing how much my kids in my classroom learn in a year but it brings me so much JOY when we teach Kayden something new and seeing how amazingly easy it is for her...
