Every year Santa flies to each elementary school in the HEB district in a helicopter and greets the kids. My very first year to experience this... brought tears to my eyes. To see all the kids from our school line up on the curb and wait for Santa to fly in on a helcopter is such an awesome experience. This year I brought Kayden to school with me so that she could experience it as well. She had such a great time in my classroom with the kids as well as seeing Santa and all his friends. I am very fortunate to have Ms. Sharon, who lives in the school neighborhood, keep Kayden so I am able to do these fun things with her.
It won't be long and she will be sitting at her very own desk at school.
She decided it would be fun to try and do their Polar Express word search...
It is so cute how she already knows how to hold a pencil...

Sitting at mommy's desk...

The kids absolutely loved playing with Kayden and she loved being the center of attention...

Showing them how to read...

Marissa, Alexis and Hannah...They are going to make wonderful babysitters one day. To bad I don't teach older kids, I would have some great sitters...
Mommy and Kayden waiting for Santa...
Here he comes...
Landing...
Look mommy, Santa...Helicopter...
At least we didn't cry this time, but still not quit sure about this bearded man...
Eventhough this picture doesn't show it, she loved Frosty and didn't want him to leave...
A former students mother and she was so happy to see Kayden...
After all this excitement Santa got in his helicopter and flew to the next school. Such a neat thing for HEB to do. The kids just LOVE it...

Just wanted to include this picture, because this is pretty much what I look at everyday from my desk. I am so glad that I have the next 2 weeks off so that I can relax and spend time with my family. I love teaching and feel very blessed that I make a difference each and everyday in the lives of these kids...
